Foraging school with Joshua Quick

9 May @ 10:30 am - 3:30 pm

| £45

We welcome you to join our seasonal foraging school held in conjunction with the incredibly knowledgeable Joshua Quick from ‘Wild St Ives’ – www.wildstives.co.uk– @Joshwildstives – Josh is an International member of the Association of Foragers with which promotes sustainability and ecological stewardship through teaching and harvesting wild plants and fungi for the use of food & drink. www.foragers-association.org.uk

Working with wild ingredients is something we are very passionate about, bringing us closer to the immediate world around us and learning about this relationship and how it can benefit our food and indeed the woodlands if ingredients are harvested properly. Alongside some of these ingredients are some of the most dangerous in the Northern Hemisphere, so knowing what not to pick is more important that what ingredients can be seen as being harvested for free. The New Yard’s passion for foraging is well known, as published in the book ‘Modern Gatherers’ by Jaime Molina and we would love to share our passion and knowledge with you.
